THE LANTERN PARADE
The Light’n Up crew from Lismore Lantern Parade are bringing large lanterns to contribute to the parade. Community members (4 per large lantern) will carry them through the streets and around Alma Park. This, combined with around 200 small lanterns carried by children, creates a magical and moving spectacle that will linger long in the memory. Cultures around the world use lanterns for community celebration. The Get Off your Arts Festival with the support of sponsors and the community are bringing that magic to Uralla.
FIRE PICTURES AND FIRE SHOW
Following the parade of lanterns The Light’n Up fire artists will create beautiful fire pictures for the fiery finale and perform a choreographed fire show which will delight young and old.
