Get Off Your Arts Festival
needs Volunteers!!

The Get Off Your Arts Festival works entirely on volunteer support.  We NEED you!!!
Get Off Your Arts Volunteers will have a really great time... we’ll work hard, laugh a lot, learn heaps and be involved in something truly wonderful. It's good fun. It's creative and it's good to share in the feeling of accomplishment with others from the community. Get behind the scenes and see how it all comes together. In return each volunteer receives associate membership of Uralla Arts, free entry to Festival concerts and an item of Get Off Your ARTS merchandise - not sure what yet!! - you may even be involved in making it!

Here are some volunteer jobs at the festival...

CREATIVE

• Making lanterns, masks, costumes etc
• Building large lanterns and lantern parade marshalling
• Decorating the streets
• Silk screening

PRODUCTION

• Production & back stage support
• Putting up fences and barriers
• Set-up of concert venues, Showtime & Pack-up
• Waste management – site cleanup
• Assist with security, gates and tickets

MARKETING & PROMOTION

• Attending local markets, promo activity
• Poster and flyer distribution
• Assisting with Surveys etc (training provided)

THE FESTIVAL DAZE

• Be rostered on to the Festival Central Info Centre and Chillout zone
• Collect donations (bucket rattlers) at the lantern parade
• Gate-keepers
• Catering help
• Festival runners and gophers
• AND LOTS MORE...

ADMINISTRATION

• Funding, Sponsorship, Marketing, etc.
• Data input, phone, filing, letters, errands etc
